Birthday Party!!

Myan and I went to Malynda's on Saturday for Kennedy's 8th birthday. Yes, we actually got out of the house! There were about 20 kids there making cookies, (making a mess!) and running around the house. I asked Myan 'do you want to have kids over for your birthday?' and she shook her head 'no.' hahahaha. That's my girl!

We had a nice mid-morning and afternoon and Malynda's and it was fun to celebrate with Kennedy. Thankfully Kia was there -- so that gave me a little break -- as Myan will hang with Kia.

Vicki and Tim were there for a short time too (they were on their way to Depot Bay, OR) but it was nice to see them and chat while we had the time. I didn't take my camera (waaaaaaaaaaaaa) but hopefully Mal will post some pics of the party on Facebook and I'll steal them and post them here.

Santa 2009

oh yea!! Myan saw Santa on TV yesterday and we'd seen him at the mall last weekend. So..all day she kept saying that she wanted to go see Santa -- and 'Yes' she wanted to sit on Santa's lap. So we drove to Silverdale (Dad, Myan and me) and here is Myan's 2009 Christmas with Santa pic. Enjoy!

Thansgiving 2009

Thanksgiving Day - 2009. What a relaxing & fun day. We let Costco do the: turkey, dessert & rolls -- we warmed appetizers and other fun foods - we made stuffing and mashed potatoes -- so it was truly a holiday for relaxing. We spent minimal time in the kitchen -- and spent most of our day lounging around the holiday table talking. What splendor! We'll have to try that again for another holiday -- it was fantastic!

Myan spent the night with Auntie Lee on Friday! Lee comes up twice a week and spends evenings with Myan and . . I must say that when Lee is over - Myan has nothing to do with me -- if I try to get her to do anything she says, "Auntie Lee here' -- obviously telling me that Lee's in charge, so don't even bother. So, I don't!

Myan spent her first night away from north end of the peninsula -- she went all the way to E. Bremerton for the evening. As much as I wondered and worried (a little) I only called twice and I really wasn't panicked or worried -- just normal stuff I suppose.

Oh, and the times that I did call -- that night and the next morning....Myan wouldn't talk to me....'put me down' was all she would say to Lee when Lee would try to get her to talk to me.
whatever.

Of course, Lee let's her color, play with play dough, paint -- messy stuff that I ... uh .. well, you all know me. That's what aunts are for!

Halloween!

Halloween 09. What fun! We practiced with her in the living room for at least an hour throughout the day -- saying 'trick or treat' and getting candy from Lanny and me. She knocked it out of the park. She was rrready to go! She got all dressed up, we drove to Winslow -- and -- uh -- well, she never once said 'trick or treat.' I guess I'm not surprised.....and, no one else is either. She did have a great time tho, talking about it on the ride home -- telling Papa and Lanny over the phone how much fun she had ....
