January 25, 2009 - We surprised Mom for a birthday brunch and cruise around Seattle a few days after her birthday. The theme was "Mozart's Birthday Crusie" and it was spectaular! We got off the BI ferry and walked to the Pier 56 to load. It was freezing outside, literally, and by the time we walked to board the boat -- we were all chilled, to say the least. We got on the boat and it was all white linens and there was a 4-piece string quartet that played Mozart's music for 3 hours. What an amazing way to spend a Sunday afternoon. We took pictures, ate and listened to music -- our table won the raffle TWICE! We won a classical music CD and tickets to a Mozart symphony in February. It was a wonderful day and a fantastic way to celebrate Mom's birthday!

It was snowing in downtown Seattle!
